Please introduce yourself!
My name is Henrietta Szécsényi. I’m 30 years old and I’m living in Budapest, Hungary.

Please tell us about your professional life. At which university are you working and in which area?
I work at the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education of Physical Education Department. I work in the administrative area which contains organization of the events, navigate the students, cooperation between students and teachers, planning and organization of exams, protocol preparation of final exams, contact with teachers and with other universities, sport camp organization etc.

Why did you decide to attend the International Week/to make an exchange within an ERASMUS STT at the Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol?
I decided to attend the International Week, because I saw most of the opportunity to networking and professional development. Furthermore, because my my colleague, Dr. Miklos Lehmann chose the same destination, so it was practical to us in terms of travel. As well as we worked together to the same experiences, but other segments.

Which impressions could you gain during the International Week/your stay at the Pädagogische Hochschule?
My impressions were excellent, instructive and useful in all respects. The school building is modern, comfortable, well-equipped students and staff alike. The vocational classrooms well-equipped. The staff is energetic, youthful and precise and technically qualified.

What could you learn in the Servicestelle für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit? What was new for you in comparison to your work at you home institution?
I got a lot of new experiences, especially in the organization, coordination and cooperation area. I learned about communication activities and budget preparation, information network, public appearances organization, communication counseling, information gathering organization and about of professional preparation. I got new professional information about organization of meetings, internal newspapers, newsletters, bulletin board preparation. I can use them in my work at home.

Would it also be interesting for your colleagues to attend an International Week at the Pädagogische Hochschule or to visit our institution within an ERASMUS STT?
I trust and I hope, that my colleagues will discourage to travelling to visit Innsbruck and your college.
I told them a lot of positive things.

Would you find it interesting to welcome staff members of the Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol at your home institution?
Unfortunately our institution are less equipped and efficient than yours. The higher education in Hungary is over political influence and this fact determines the quality.
The city of Budapest, the environment and the cultural life are beautiful, but shortcomings in the field of education funding.

Please introduce yourself!
Hi, my name is Pia Nurmi and I´m from Finland.

Please tell us about your professional life. At which university are you working and in which area?
I´m working at HAMK University of Applied Sciences, Professional Teacher Education Unit. My title is an Education Assistant and I work at Continuing Education Department.

Why did you decide to attend the International Week/to make an exchange within an ERASMUS STT at the Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol?
PHT seemed quite similar than our Unit. Also many people from there have been in our Unit. So I knew quite many persons already. I have heard only good before and I also haven’t been at the Innsbruck/Alps before.

Which impressions could you gain during the International Week/your stay at the Pädagogische Hochschule?
PHT organized the International Week very well and also there was very versatile programme. I think the International group really enjoyed being there and got a lot of new information. Also there was a lots of possibilities to get to know the people from other countries. It was great the PHT have also hotels to recommend so many of the group were staying at the same hotel. The International lunch was very good idea and we have used that idea already. We had Cedefob study visit at May. 16 teachers of all over the Europe were staying in HAMK one week.

What could you learn in the Servicestelle für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit? What was new for you in comparison to your work at you home institution?
I think there are lots to do at the PR-department all the time. Very nice team is working great together and doing lots of marketing every day. The teamwork really seems suiting well and it is important. Most of employees were also teachers so they have to teach too. At PHT there were lots of paperwork and meetings, more than we have. We don’t use titles so much and I think its easier to discuss with people when we are not so official. Working time also was shorter than our eight hours. Many of officeworkers were working only six hours per day.

Would it also be interesting for your colleagues to attend an International Week at the Pädagogische Hochschule or to visit our institution within an ERASMUS STT?
I think it could be very interesting to many of our colleagues. I hope you are organizing the Week again.

Would you find it interesting to welcome staff members of the Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol at your home institution?
Yes of course staff members are very welcome to visit at HAMK. Thank you so much inviting me to to PHT. I learned a lot and I really enjoyed being there and meet you all.
Thank you!
